Chris Jericho: For Me, The Greatest Of All Time Is Shawn Michaels

Chris Jericho believes WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is wrestling’s GOAT.

For decades, professional wrestling fans have debated who truly deserves to be considered the industry’s greatest of all time, weighing up in-ring ability, influence, storytelling and a host of other factors in an effort to answer what remains a seemingly unanswerable question.

Speaking to Spencer Matthews on UNTAPPED, Chris Jericho revealed that he considers Shawn Michaels to be the greatest of all time, highlighting the number of boxes HBK ticks as a performer.

“For me, the greatest of all time is Shawn Michaels. That’s the best for what I like in wrestling. Shawn, to me, was the best from an athletic standpoint, from a character standpoint, from a storyline standpoint. I don’t think it gets much better than Shawn.”

Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels shared the ring on numerous occasions throughout their careers. While Michaels’ in-ring days are now behind him, he continues to shape the next generation of WWE Superstars in NXT, where he serves as Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative.
