CM Punk thinks WWE is the perfect company for Danhausen.

On February 28, Danhausen made his WWE debut by emerging from the mystery crate that’d been appearing backstage on RAW and SmackDown. Although his first appearance was met with little response from those attending the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, the former AEW wrestler has been win over many viewers through ‘cursing’ other members of the roster. Now, one of WWE’s biggest stars has said Danhausen is exactly where he needs to be.

Appearing on Unsportsmanlike, CM Punk said Danhausen is perfect for WWE.

“I think his impact has yet to be felt. He’s perfect for WWE. He is perfect for what we do. Sometimes, you find a talent that has always kind of belonged here and you never really realized it. He’s somebody who, to me, is a throwback. He’s a bit of a gimmick, but he’s so entertaining. You can put him in any single situation and it’s more about how other people react or don’t react to him.”

Since arriving, Danhausen has only wrestled one match for WWE, though he’s appeared backstage in comedic segments with the likes of The Miz and The New Day. After his win over Kit Wilson on April 10, fans are waiting to see what’s next for the recently-debuted star.

While the star isn’t officially announced for this weekend’s WrestleMania 42, reports have recently indicated Danhausen could be set to feature in multiple segments across the show, including a possible interaction with John Cena. For now, whether the 35-year-old graces the ‘Show Of Shows’ remains to be seen.
