Despite his appearance on RAW, CM Punk appears to be without a definitive brand.
This past Saturday at Survivor Series, CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE following his AEW contract termination in September, bringing an end to almost ten years away from the company. Punk addressed the WWE Universe for the first time during this Monday’s episode of RAW, leading many to believe that the red brand would be his home moving forward, however, that now appears to be uncertain.
PWInsider are now reporting that Punk is listed as a free agent on WWE’s internal roster, and thus, he can appear for any of the company’s three brands at any time.
“Internally on the WWE roster, Punk is listed as a ‘free agent’, which would mean Punk can pop up on any of the brands.”

At the time of writing, Punk is yet to be advertised for this upcoming Friday’s episode of SmackDown, however with free agent status seemingly in play, it appears as though appearances on the blue brand could be possible in the near future.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on CM Punk’s WWE return as soon as we hear more.
