‘La Primera’ could be heading to the United States sooner or later.

Stephanie Vaquer has been capturing the attention of fans worldwide this year, and Record Mexico revealed yesterday that the 31-year-old Chilean has offers from both WWE & AEW.

Amidst these rumours, Luchablog is now reporting that Vaquer is still under contract with CMLL, although with the promotion having previously let their talent out of their deals following offers from the US, this may not pose an issue for either company.

“Stephanie Vaquer is under contract to CMLL at the moment, and has significant time left on that contract, according to a source. The length of her contract is also not expected to matter much. CMLL has let wrestlers out of their deals when they have a big US offer.”

On top of working for CMLL, Vaquer has appeared for STARDOM, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and AEW this year, with her reign as NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion seeing her take on the likes of Giulia and Mercedes Mone.

Having already appeared on AEW TV this year, the promotion will likely do everything they can to secure her signature, although with her stock rising after every match, WWE are almost certain to put up a fight.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Stephanie Vaquer as soon soon we hear more.
