Cody Rhodes Names Bianca Belair As WWE’s “Greatest Athlete Ever”

Cody Rhodes says Bianca Belair stands out for her athletic prowess.
Having been a major part of WWE programming since his return to the company at WrestleMania 38, including becoming a three-time former WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes makes a lot of outside appearances with WWE and promoting his recent performance as Guile in the latest Street Fighter movie. Being a major representative for the company around the world, the star is well-placed to define what helps someone excel in the world of wrestling. Now, “The American Nightmare” has labelled one out-of-action WWE star as the of the best in a certain field.
Speaking on the Double Coverage podcast, Cody Rhodes chose Bianca Belair as the peak of athleticism in WWE history.
“Bianca Belair is maybe WWE’s greatest athlete ever… She’s a prime example of if anyone looks at the system today and think like, ‘Oh, why do they care so much about the sports and the athleticism?’ It can really help in the ring.”
-Cody Rhodes
Bianca Belair hasn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 41, where she suffered a hand injury, and was last seen in the ring at this year’s “Show Of Shows” when she announced her pregnancy. In August, she gave birth to her son, bringing new life into the world alongside her husband Montez Ford, and we continue to wish her the best with regard to her future.
Prior to her absence, Belair was a featured part of WWE TV and her 420-day reign as WWE Raw Women’s Champion (now the WWE Women’s Championship) is the longest of any women’s championship reign since 2006. Prior to signing with the company, she was a track and field athlete, giving her an advantage over the competition.
