Cody Rhodes Says He’s Most Excited To See GUNTHER vs. Seth Rollins At WWE WrestleMania 42

Cody Rhodes names his most anticipated WrestleMania 42 match.

As of writing, the first night of WrestleMania 42 is just four days away. In terms of the card, perhaps the most marquee match of WWE’s weekend will be the night two main event of CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. However, on Saturday, the clash between GUNTHER and Seth Rollins has caught the attention of fans as a possible show stealer from an in-ring perspective. Now, one of the company’s biggest names has agreed ‘The Ring General’ vs. ‘The Visionary’ is one to watch.

Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Rhodes said he’s looking forward to GUNTHER vs. Rollins.

“There’s always a little bit of that split between the sports entertainment and the wrestling, the sports and the entertainment. And the one that’s old school sports style that I really like, just good old fashioned wrestling, Gunther vs. Seth Rollins. I’m all about that. That’s a wrestler’s wrestling match.”

Rollins first found himself in the crosshairs of GUNTHER on the edition of RAW, as ‘The Ring General’ laid out ‘The Visionary’ with Paul Heyman watching on. Since then, the pair have come face to face several times on WWE’s flagship show, with the Austrian making it clear on last night’s episode that he wants to prove he’s a better wrestler than his WrestleMania opponent/
