The belief is reportedly that Daniel Garcia will stay with AEW.
On the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Daniel Garcia was taken out by MJF following the 25-year-old unsuccessful attempt to win the International Championship from Will Ospreay. It came following rumours regarding his contract status, and many saw the attack as a way of writing Garcia out of the company, however a new update suggests he may not be done with All Elite Wrestling just yet.
Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief is that Garcia will re-sign with AEW, picking up a feud with MJF upon his return. Interestingly, it’s noted that he had interest in WWE, and, should he go have gone there, he’d have started in NXT.
“The general belief remains that Daniel Garcia will sign a new deal and feud with MJF upon his return. The angle itself was shot with that expected, but his contract was running out and he did have interest in going to WWE (although he’d likely have had to start in NXT).”

As of yet, Garcia is yet to officially commit his future to AEW so a move to WWE could still materialise. For now, though, it appears most likely that he’ll remain on AEW’s books into the future.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Daniel Garcia’s AEW future as soon as we hear more.
