AEW’s Dax Harwood has tipped Kevin Knight to be the promotion’s ace.
Kevin Knight and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, known collectively as JetSpeed, have been a phenomenal addition to AEW’s tag team division in 2025. While the pair have yet to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship, they have already gone toe-to-toe with some of the promotion’s top teams, including FTR.
In an interview with Beyond The Bell, FTR’s Dax Harwood offered high praise for Kevin Knight, describing the 28-year-old as a future main event ace of All Elite Wrestling.
“I think Kevin Knight is going to be our main event ace. I’ve never been with someone in the ring who knows ring positioning, who’s as smart as he is, who knows timing… I could say a million good things about him, but he will be a big star for us in about three to five years.”

Harwood also revealed during the interview that he recently texted WWE’s Chad Gable to say that FTR have more chemistry with JetSpeed than with any team they have faced since American Alpha during their time in NXT.
JetSpeed fell short against FTR at AEW: WrestleDream on October 18, though it’s clear the duo still have their sights set on capturing tag team gold.
In the immediate future, however, both Knight and Bailey are scheduled to compete in the Casino Gauntlet at AEW: Full Gear on November 22, which will crown the inaugural AEW National Champion.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Kevin Knight as soon as we hear more.
