Dominik Mysterio isn’t running from John Cena.
At the end of this year, John Cena’s illustrious WWE career will come to a close. The 48-year-old is undoubtedly one of the most legendary performers in WWE’s history, though, for all his success, the star has never been able to call himself the Intercontinental Champion. With many fans still wanting to see Cena tick off the final accomplishment left on his list, the current title holder has welcomed the challenge.
Speaking on the Rap On Wrestling Podcast, Dominik Mysterio responded to a question on John Cena possibly chasing the Intercontinental Championship by saying the 17-time world champion knows where to find him.
“I mean, he can try, and what’s that thing he says? If you want some, come get some. You know what? John, you know where I’m at. If you want to come finish your Grand Slam quest, these little side quests you’re on, I’m here all day. Every Monday, you know where I’ll be.”

Up next for John Cena’s retirement tour is Logan Paul, with the pair set to go one-on-one this Sunday at Clash In Paris. At present, there’s been no on-screen indication that a match for the Intercontinental Championship is in the works for Cena, though it will remain a popular talking point until the curtain falls on his career this December.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on possible future plans for John Cena as soon as we hear more.
