Dragongate Unveils Teams For Rey de Parejas 2026
Dragongate completed the field for the 16th edition of the Rey de Parejas tag team tournament on Sunday, officially unveiling all of the participating teams.
The tournament will run from August 4 through September 3, spanning 15 events. Most of the shows will be available to watch on the Dragon Gate Network or YouTube, although, as long-time Dragongate fans will know, not every event will be broadcast.
Most of the teams set to compete will be making their Rey de Parejas debuts, creating plenty of fresh matchups throughout the tournament. Block A is headlined by Open the Twin Gate Champions Gajadokuro (ISHIN and Yoshiki Kato), Love & Peace’s JACKY KAMEI and Riiita, widely regarded as one of Dragongate’s top tag teams, and the intriguing pairing of Natural Vibes leader Strong Machine J and indie wrestling veteran LEONA. Elsewhere, Hyo is currently advertised to team with his stuffed companion, Myon Myon, in one of the tournament’s more unusual entries.
Block B is similarly loaded, featuring the newly formed XenisS pairing of Kota Minoura and Yuki Yoshioka, Natural Vibes duo AKEY and GuC, another fresh team in Homare and Kazuma Kimura, and the pairing of El Cielo and Luis Mante.
