Eddie Kingston has explained his recent stomach issues.
Around four weeks ago, in an interview with Wrestling With The Narrative, Eddie Kingston gave a health update to fans in which he revealed how stomach issues had delayed his ability to attend physical therapy. Now, ‘The Mad King’ has elaborated further on the situation and how it happened.
Kingston recently spoke to Mike Johnson of PWInsider to say that his recent stomach issues were caused by stress. Thankfully, the 43-year-old reassured fans that it’s something that’s getting better every day.
“I just f–ked it up from stress and got meds for it. It is getting better and better everyday. You can quote me here: I was stressed out about dumb sh– I can’t control. So I f–ked up my stomach being a a–hole, but I’m trying to get better and I will get better. As of late, I have been up and down and up and down. It was a normal day for me. I just don’t have certain things that I use to get my aggression out. This has been the longest I have ever been from my lady, pro wrestling. This is as honest as I can be, Mike.”

Also, it was noted by PWInsider that Kingston is expected to return to the ring this summer.
“The expectation is that Kingston will be cleared to return to the ring this summer.”

Kingston has been out since May of last year after suffering a tibular fracture as well as a torn ACL and Meniscus. His presence has certainly been missed by fans of AEW and we look forward to seeing him return to the ring when he is able later this year.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Eddie Kingston’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
