Ethan Page praises Je’von Evans.
Earlier this year, Ethan Page and Je’von Evans were locked in an intense rivalry on NXT, with Page even breaking the jaw of his rival as part of the storyline. The pair traded wins on the brand’s Premium Live Events, coming out with one win each, and their feud was a highlight of NXT in the early months of 2025. Now, the current North American Champion has high praise for Je’von Evans.
Speaking to Adam Silverstein on Getting Over, Ethan Page said that Evans has a higher ceiling than anyone else, noting that WWE should tie him down to the company longterm.
“Higher than everyone else here. Higher than mine, that hurts me to say. He’s just himself, and I think that’s one thing that took me so long to figure out—just be as genuine as possible. And as much as I hate the kid, he is who he is. No one’s going to change him. And when he performs, that’s as genuine of Je’Von as you’re going to get. He has an unlimited ceiling, and I hope the WWE has signed him to a 15 year contract. I’m very excited to see what he does here.”

After building up momentum on NXT, Evans was afforded a spot in the ‘Last Time Is Now’ Tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent. Despite losing to GUNTHER, ‘The Young OG’ showed why many are touting him as someone to keep an eye on for years to come in WWE.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Je’von Evans and Ethan Page as soon as we hear more.
