WWE Unreal will reportedly be back.

Back in July, the first season of WWE Unreal was released. Consisting of five episodes, it aimed to give fans a peak behind the curtain, most notably showing viewers key details behind Jey Uso’s Royal Rumble win and John Cena’s heel turn. Now, there’s been an update suggesting another season is on the way.

Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that filming for the second season of WWE Unreal has begun.

“We’re told that the season 2 filming is underway, with Seth Rollins among the subjects. WWE, Netflix and NFL films have already started production, and a season is expected in 2026. We’re told that Weaver has been at multiple events to film for the show, and the wheels are already in motion for what music gets used on the show.”

This follows on from the director of WWE Unreal being present at this year’s SummerSlam to film Seth Rollins’ surprising Money in the Bank cash-in. As for when fans may be able to see the next season of the show, Fightful note that it’s tentatively scheduled to be released in January of next year.

The first season of WWE Unreal notably featured a Royal Rumble pitch which would’ve seen Chelsea Green inadvertently win the match after everyone else had been eliminated. Recently, the former Women’s United States Champion gave her thoughts on the idea, and you can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE Unreal as soon as we hear more.
