Giulia may not be arriving in NXT as soon as was originally thought.
On April 6, at NXT Stand & Deliver, former World of Stardom Champion and current Marigold star Giulia was shown on-screen, confirming rumours that she is WWE-bound. The 30-year-old is a huge get for the company, and it was previously thought that she’d be making her first appearance on the developmental brand at July 7’s NXT Heatwave, with reports even suggesting that she’d be vying for a title in her debut match, but it’s now been suggested that this may not happen after all.
Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s been said that Giulia will not be starting in WWE as soon as NXT Heatwave, with Marigold reportedly of this belief as well.
“There have been reports that Giulia starts on 7/20 in Toronto, facing Roxanne Perez for the NXT title. We had been told before she was hurt, from those in Japan who know her, that she was not starting in WWE that soon. Marigold is also of that belief.”

The report notes that the relevant paperwork would struggle to be completed in time for Giulia to debut as previously speculated, although NXT Heatwave taking place in Canada allows her to appear on the show regardless of clearance for US appearances.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the plans for Giulia’s WWE debut as soon as we hear more.
