The former World of Stardom Champion is WWE-bound.

Giulia has long been rumoured to be of interest in WWE, and now that her STARDOM departure has been confirmed, it seems as though the company will officially confirm her signing in the near future.

Fightful Select are now reporting that multiple NXT sources believe that Giulia will be heading the WWE Performance Center after finishing up her remaining dates in Japan, with the expectation being that she’ll start in NXT.

“Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has been told by multiple NXT sources that Giulia will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center and NXT upon completion of her remaining dates, with an immediate main roster debut ruled out.”

The former Donna Del Mondo leader has made no secrets about the fact that she’s been learning English as of late, and the report reveals that whilst this was not an issue by any means, WWE are happy with her recent progression.

Since rumours linking Giulia to WWE began, many fans have speculated that the company may have concerns with her being too stiff in the ring. However, Fightful note that this isn’t a concern for WWE, with multiple sources diminishing this rumour.

Both Giulia and former STARDOM executive producer Rossy Ogawa have both been spotted in Philadelphia this weekend, leading to speculation that Giulia could make her first onscreen appearance for the company in some capacity.

Per the report, his may turn out to be the case, as many within NXT believe that Giulia could be shown in the crowd during NXT Stand And Deliver in a similar vein to the signings made during the Takeover era of the brand.

“Talent and members of the NXT production team believe that Giulia will be present at NXT Stand And Deliver, with there being talk of a throwback to NXT signings being shown in the crowd possibly happening at the Premium Live Event, but we have not been able to confirm this.”

Fightful’s Corey Brennan additionally clarified on X/Twitter that Giulia’s remaining dates include aiding Rossy Ogawa in starting his new promotion, with many speculating that said promotion may enter into a partnership with WWE.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Giulia as soon as we hear more.
