Giulia may reportedly be competing in NXT by July.

The future of former STARDOM wrestler Giulia has been heavily discussed since late last year, when it was reported that WWE had restored their interest in the 30-year-old. She competed in her final STARDOM match on April 12, and, while the WWE rumours were seemingly confirmed when she was shown on camera during NXT Stand & Deliver, Giulia has also been announced as part of the starting roster for Marigold, Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion.

To provide some clarity of the situation, Corey Brennan of Fightful Select is now reporting that Giulia is expected to work “a handful” of matches for Marigold, with the idea being that she will make the switch to WWE in late June or early July.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned from sources close to the situation that Giulia is expected to work at least “a handful” of matches in Marigold before hopefully reporting to the WWE Performance Center in late June/early July.”

Expanding on this, it’s believed that Giulia’s first NXT match is likely to come as soon as ‘Heatwave’ on July 7. Not only that, it’s said that she may even be challenging for one of the brand’s women’s championships at the event.

“As far as when fans can expect to see Giulia on NXT programming, the belief within NXT is that she will have her debut match at NXT Heatwave on July 7th, and is expected to be challenging for one of the NXT Women’s Championships at the event.”

The report also touches on her planned presentation, with it noted that Giulia is set to keep her name when she arrives in WWE. Also, it’s said that the company are well within their rights to try and acquire her current theme music, however, they aren’t expected to explore this option as of right now.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Giulia’s WWE arrival as soon as we hear more.
