Hangman Adam Page Reportedly Taking Time Off From AEW TV

Adam Page looks set to take time off from AEW television.
AEW Revolution on March 15 saw MJF retain the AEW World Championship in a Texas Deathmatch against ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, with the result meaning that Page can never challenge for the title again. Naturally, the outcome has led to fans questioning what is next for Page, and there is now an update on his future.
According to Fightful Select, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page is set to take time off from All Elite Wrestling television following his loss in the main event of AEW Revolution
“All Elite Wrestling sources indicated to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp this week that Hangman Page is set to take some time off from AEW TV. We were not told if that was happening immediately, or if he would appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks. However, the active plan is for Hangman to take time off.”

Page was absent from last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which could indicate that this planned absence is now underway. It remains to be seen whether he will re-emerge on television in the coming weeks.
The report additionally notes that one AEW source claimed the length of ‘Hangman’ Adam Page’s absence was “indeterminate” and could last for weeks or months.
Alongside Kevin Knight and ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey as Jet Set Rodeo, Page dropped the AEW World Trios Championship to The Don Callis Family during the March 4 edition of AEW Dynamite. The title was later recaptured by JetSpeed alongside the newly ‘All Elite’ Místico at AEW Revolution last Sunday.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Adam Page taking time off from AEW TV as soon as we hear more.
