Hangman Page is reportedly fine coming out of Dynamite.
On last night’s edition of AEW Dynamite, many were concerned over the condition of Hangman Adam Page. The 32-year-old was a part of the main event six-man tag team match as he teamed with RVD and Hook to battle Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage and Samoa Joe, but was spotted landing awkwardly after the AEW World Champion hit him with a Muscle Buster. Hangman was then seen on the outside holding his ankle, even saying ‘stop, don’t shoot me’ to a nearby cameraman attempting to film him.
This caused concern among viewers, and, as Dynamite went off the air, social media footage emerged of Hangman continuing to express frustration with his potential injury. According to those in the building, Page was visibly angry post-show and kept saying ‘it’s bad, my foot’ to doctors at ringside.
This prompted Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez to comment on the possible injury on Wrestling Observer Radio. Here, Alvarez said that Hangman was likely to have a serious ankle injury.
However, it seems as if the panic is over regarding Page’s injury, as Fightful Select are now reporting that Hangman is ‘fine’ following Dynamite and that the situation was an angle. In fact, one talent backstage reportedly confirmed that Hangman was in good health by saying ‘he’s just good at his job’.
“We’re told that this was an angle, and he was fine once he got backstage.

We’re told this could be worked into the show now, but upon returning to the backstage area, Page was completely fine.”
This will come as a relief to many, particularly as Hangman Page is set to compete in a triple threat match against Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship at Revolution in just 10 days time.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Hangman Page’s status prior to AEW Revolution as soon as we hear more.
