AEW are keen on rewarding the pair for stepping up.
When Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize withdrew from their scheduled tag match with Anna Jay and Tay Melo on the October 8 episode of AEW Collision, independent standouts Hyan and Maya World stepped in as their replacements.
With the duo having made another appearance since October 8, many fans have questioned whether Hyan and Maya World are now under contract with AEW. According to a new report from Fightful Select, that is not the case as of yet, although AEW do intend to use them further, with some sources suggesting that they could soon be All Elite.
“It was confirmed to Fightful that Maya World and Hyan are not signed by All Elite Wrestling, but it was claimed that the company has had heavy interest in using them moving forward. AEW sources we spoke to said that they wouldn’t be surprised to see the duo under contract sooner than later.”

Following their brief encounter with TayJay, Hyan and Maya World faced the team of Alex Windsor and Riho during last Saturday’s AEW Collision, with the report adding that this opportunity came as a direct result of how well they handled the situation the previous week.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Hyan and Maya World’s AEW contract status as soon as we hear more.
