Jelly Roll targets a full-time run with WWE.

This past summer, Jelly Roll became the latest celebrity to crossover into the professional wrestling world. Making his in-ring debut at SummerSlam, the Grammy-nominated artist teamed with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. Now, the 40-year-old has expressed interest in a full-time run with WWE in the future.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Jelly Roll revealed his intent to wrestle again, saying he wants a full-time schedule for 6-9 months.

“I will wrestle again, for sure. I want to run it back. I want to do one more. I know why Bad Bunny had to do Backlash now because I know he walked out of that ring that night [after his first match] knowing how much more he could give. I don’t really know what I want. But one, a dream scenario is: I’d like to get involved for like a run. Like, I’d like to wrestle every Friday, you know what I mean? Like, I’d like to get involved for like a 6-9 month run. But I definitely got to do one more though, man. It’s like anything else in life. You did it once and you think you were prepared, but you wasn’t. And you leave there, all I could think about is everything I know I could have done a little better.”

Jelly Roll has previously discussed being a fan of wrestling since childhood, though it’s unclear whether a full-time run with WWE will materialise given his commitments in the music industry.

Elsewhere in the interview, Jelly Roll discussed pitching to lose his debut match. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jelly Roll’s WWE future as soon as we hear more.
