Joe Hendry thinks he has unfinished business from his time in NXT.

Over the summer, TNA’s Joe Hendry shocked fans by appearing in NXT. He went on to have seven matches for WWE’s third brand as well as appearing in the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble. Now, it seems as if the Scotsman has some unfinished business with those on NXT.

Speaking on the Respect The Craft podcast, Hendry discussed whether there was anyone he wants to face in another cross-company matchup. Here, he spoke about his time in NXT and said he’d like to see some of his history there spill over into TNA.

“I’ve put it all out there. You guys know what matches I’m looking for. Again, if you look at my run in NXT, I think there’s unfinished business and history there. I’d like to see some of that spill over into TNA Wrestling. But at the end of the day, my job is to be the best champion I can possibly be, and whatever is put in front of me, to do it to the best of my ability. It doesn’t matter who the challenger is, whatever the task is. I’ve just gotta do my best,”

-Joe Hendry

Hendry is now the TNA World Champion, defeating Nic Nemeth at Genesis on January 19. Whether any NXT roster members crossover into TNA to challenge him for his gold in future remains to be seen.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on a possible crossover between NXT and TNA as soon as we hear more.
