Josh Alexander Reportedly Expected To Sign With AEW

Josh Alexander’s next destination has reportedly been decided.

This weekend, Josh Alexander’s deal with TNA Wrestling is set to expire and the 37-year-old will enter free agency. However, after it was revealed that the former Impact World Champion had hired Barry Bloom to aid him in negotiations, it became clear that Alexander wasn’t going to wait around long before making his next move. Now, an update has emerged suggesting where fans may next see ‘The Walking Weapon’ appear.

Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Josh Alexander is expected to sign with AEW.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that those within AEW, near Alexander and in the industry that Josh Alexander was expected to sign with AEW if he hasn’t already.”

Alexander had previously expressed his openness to any possibility when it came to his next move, but it seems like AEW is where he will soon be calling home. As yet, there’s been no indication as to whether a deal has been signed or when he’d be looking to debut, but it seems fans can get excited about the possible arrival of Josh Alexander on AEW TV in the coming weeks.
