AEW have reportedly made yet another addition to their growing women’s roster.
In January, Kamille departed the NWA after a dominant reign with the NWA Women’s World Title that went on for a staggering 812 days. Kamille was a focal point for the brand and, in large part, was responsible for a significant portion of their popularity.
After seemingly remaining a free agent throughout the early months of 2024, Fightful Select are now reporting that Kamille is under contract with AEW, with the promotion having signed her back in February.
“Kamille has been a free agent since January 1. She recently stated on Twitter that she has been signed since February and Fightful Select has learned that the former NWA World Women’s Champion is slated to join AEW, and is under contract with the company.”

As mentioned in the report, Kamille took to her X/Twitter yesterday and mentioned that she has been signed since February, although she never mentioned which promotion. Kamille had previously revealed that she’d held talks with Shawn Michaels and WWE, and thus speculation had been rampant regarding where she’d land between the two promotions.
Prior to AEW Revolution earlier this year, Tony Khan stated that he believes Kamille is a great free agent, and it now appears that she’ll soon officially be ‘All Elite’.
