‘The Prizefighter’ is yet to extend his stay with WWE.
In May, while speaking to the Metro, Kevin Owens revealed that he had less than nine months left on his current WWE deal. Now, an update has emerged on the 40-year-old’s contract situation after he committed three years to the company in 2021.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, it was noted by Owens that the only change to his status is that there is now even less time left on his WWE deal, as no agreement has been reached to extend his contract as of yet.
“In May, Owens revealed that his current deal is set to expire in the early part of next year. He tells The Takedown on SI that the only change in his contract status since then is that there’s now less time on his deal.”

When revealing his contract status three months ago, Owens also mentioned that he has no plans to leave WWE of his own accord having spent 10 years in the company to this point. While that may still be the case, the longer WWE goes without renewing terms with ‘The Prizefighter’, the more questions will start to arise over his future.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Kevin Owens’ WWE contract as soon as we hear more.
