Killer Kross says his WWE departure being an angle wouldn’t have been in good taste.
When Karrion Kross and Scarlett left WWE in August, many weren’t convinced that their departures were genuine. Following Seth Rollins’ injury being exaggerated to shock fans when he returned at SummerSlam, a section of viewers expected the popular duo to swiftly re-emerge on Monday Night RAW to make their contract expiry part of a storyline. Now, with the pair settling into life outside WWE, Kross has given his view on the idea that his exit could’ve been a work.
In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instant Culture, Kross assured fans that he wouldn’t use losing his job to work people, saying that it wouldn’t be in good taste.
“There are hundreds of people who have been coming to the table, a lot of them angry because they were hoping it was a work and there would be a payoff. I would never work somebody like that. To me, it’s not in good taste. Running an angle where you lose your job and upset people is not something I would do. I understand why people thought it was going to be a work, they were hoping it was going to be a work,”

Kross is yet to compete in a match since his WWE departure, although he recently made a surprise appearance at GCW Homecoming to help Shotzi Blackheart defeat Matt Cardona. The 40-year-old is set to make his return to the ring at WrestlePro’s ‘Killer Smokeshow’ event on September 21.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Killer Kross and Scarlett as soon as we hear more.
