Komander Reportedly Sidelined With An Injury

Komander is believed to be hurt.
As of writing, Komander hasn’t wrestled for AEW on the September 5 episode of Collision, while he’s been absent from the ring altogether since he competed in CMLL on September 20. While fans are used to his appearances on Dynamite and Collision being relatively sporadic, questions have been raised about his current status, and an update has emerged explaining why he’s not been on-screen for over a month.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed Komander is currently out injured.
“The reason Komander hasn’t been seen in several weeks is because he’s injured. The hope is that he will be back soon.”
-Dave Meltzer
The star is someone who typically impresses whenever he’s given the chance to shine on AEW TV. Komander has unique athletic ability that can dazzle an audience, so, while he’s not always a regular on weekly TV, his presence reminds fans of his in-ring skill. Plus, unfer the AEW banner, he had a 118-day reign as ROH World TV Champion from December 2024 into April 2025.
Thankfully, it seems Komander won’t be out for long, and we look forward to seeing him back in the ring as soon as he’s able.
