Kyle Fletcher has high praise for Kevin Knight.

On the March 29 edition of Collision, Kevin Knight wrestled his first singles match for AEW, and it was announced shortly afterwards that the 28-year-old had signed with the company. Since then, Knight has formed a beloved tag team with ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey and has featured in high-profile pay-per-view matches. With fans now looking forward to see how ‘The Jet’ fairs in the Continental Classic, it now appears as if it isn’t just AEW’s viewers who are touting Knight for future success.

While speaking to MAXimum Rock, Kyle Fletcher had high praise for Kevin Knight, with ‘The Protostar’ drawing comparisons between Knight’s spot in AEW and where he was a few years ago.

“I think he is so cool. It was an Eight Man Tag just a couple months ago in Philadelphia, and I think that was the first time I’d ever gotten in the ring with him. I could just tell he’s a special talent, man. He’s so capable. It feels like he is in the spot that I was a few years ago. He’s just coming to AEW, he’s a part of a great tag team, JetSpeed, right now. He’s doing some great things, and now he’s in the Continental Classic getting able to show what he’s made of on his own. Not for the first time obviously, but with this amount of eyes on him. And he’s been given this awesome opportunity, and if last week’s anything to go by, he’s going to take it by the horns and f*cking run with it.“

On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight will go one on one as part of the 2025 Continental Classic. After ‘The Protostar’ defeated Kazuchika Okada last week and ‘The Jet’ earned a win against Darby Allin, both men will be coming into their second tournament match with a win under their belt.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight as soon as we hear more.
