We’ll be seeing more from Lio Rush on AEW TV moving forward.

Lio Rush made his in-ring return to All Elite Wrestling during the May 29th episode of AEW Dynamite. After making a good impression, he was quickly booked to face Roderick Strong at the following night’s tapings, and we now have more on his usage moving forward.

Responding to questions about Lio’s status with AEW, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed that he’s set to feature regularly as things stand, with it being noted that he has now been factored into Collision’s intro.

“We haven’t confirmed that he’s signed with AEW again, but is expected to be a regular with them as things stand. Lio was factored in to the most recent intro that aired on AEW Collision, and has creative plans.”

The report also notes that Lio Rush spoke with Tony Khan and made positive impressions during his return to the company, hence him being factored into the promotion’s future plans.

During his absence from AEW, Rush worked across various promotions, including TNA, MLW, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future plans for Lio Rush as soon as we hear more.
