Liv Morgan Says She Prefers Being A Heel To Being A Babyface In WWE

Liv Morgan prefers being a heel in WWE.
After becoming Women’s World Champion in May 2024, Liv Morgan joined Judgment Day officially became a heel. Off the back of her ‘revenge tour’ which saw her go on a 225-day reign as Women’s World Champion, the 31-year-old has arguably cemented herself as the top villain in RAW’s women’s division. Now, Morgan has reflected on whether she prefers being a heel or a face.
In an interview with Esteban Ramirez, Morgan admitted she’d happily stay as a heel forever.
“I like being a bad girl. I feel like you knew that. I think being a bad girl is just so fun, easy and freeing. When you are a good guy, you’re valiant and the people have to like you. They have to respect you, they have to want to root for you, and sometimes that can be very difficult and that can be hard. Being a bad guy, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if you mess up, it doesn’t matter if they love or hate you. Obviously you want to get them to hate you, but that reaction isn’t as important as when you are a good guy and you’re supposed to be getting cheered. So I love being a bad girl, I love the freedom that gives me, I feel very comfortable, I feel very in my wheelhouse. I would stay terrible forever.”

While Morgan’s main roster debut as part of The Riott Squad saw her arrive on SmackDown as a heel, the star spent almost five years as a babyface between 2019 and 2024. During this time, Morgan won her first world championship, winning the SmackDown Women’s Title from Ronda Rousey.
Still, few would argue that Morgan is at her best when performing as a heel, with her recent momentum seeing her win the Women’s Royal Rumble. As a result, the Judgment Day member will look to reclaim the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.
