Lyra Valkyria was happy to see Lola Vice become champion in WWE NXT.

On April 4, at Stand And Deliver, Lola Vice captured the NXT Women’s Championship in a triple threat match with Kendal Grey and the now former champion Jacy Jayne. Her title win came around four years after first signing with the company, representing the journey from first entering the Women’s Breakout Tournament in 2023. Now, a main roster star has reflected kindly on Vice reaching the mountaintop in NXT.

Appearing on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, Lyra Valkyria praised Lola Vice winning the NXT Women’s Championship.

“I’ve been in the ring with Lola. Obviously, she’s a star. You just look at her and you can see it. We knew it was only gonna be a matter of time before she held that title. She’s been working and grafting down there, she’s in Mexico, she’s everywhere. I was actually quite happy to see her get her moment because she was in the title contention when I was in NXT, and we’re two years on now, so I think that it must’ve meant so much to her to finally conquer the mountain. I’m very happy for her and I hope that I one day see her in the ring again.”
