Two more of AEW’s recent departures could be going to WWE.

On February 10, it was reported by PWInsider that Malakai Black, Ricky Starks and Miro had all left AEW, either due to contract expiry or a mutual agreement on their exit. Then, on the next night’s episode of NXT, Starks shocked viewers by appearing on WWE TV just one day after his All Elite Wrestling departure. Now, an update has now emerged on the futures of the Miro and Malakai Black.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that Malakai Black and Miro will also be in WWE soon, with it said that the creative team have been talking about them.

“The belief is that Black and Miro will also be in WWE very soon. Those in WWE had said creative had been talking about Black and Miro.”

Whether the pair of former AEW roster members pop up in WWE soon remains to be seen but it was previously reported that Malakai Black is viewed as a possible top singles star by those in the company. As for Miro, while he hasn’t competed in the ring since December 2023, the Bulgarian’s departure comes after he is believed to have asked for his AEW release in September so this will likely be seen as a fresh start for the former TNT Champion.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the futures of Malakai Black and Miro following their respective AEW departures as soon as we hear more.
