Many Money Win NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championships

The NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championships have changed hands.

Kikyo Furusawa and Rian, collectively known as “Many Money” defeated Aya Sakura and Sayaka Kurara to win the NEW BLOOD Tag Team Championships during STARDOM Nighter in Korakuen show on Tuesday. The two young wrestlers picked up the upset victory during the main event after Rian hit the Hanaguruma at the 16:32 mark.

Many Money are now the sixth champions since the belts were introduced in March of 2023. This is also the first title win for both Furusawa and Rian. Sakura and Kurara’s reign thus ends at 355 days, where they only defended the belts twice before this match.

Following the contest, when both winners were celebrating their landmark victory, Maki Itoh came out to congratulate her Itoh Respect Army members. She took the mic and expressed pride in her teammates, suggesting they should push to become an official units within the promotion.

While the Itoh Respect Army isn’t currently an official faction within STARDOM, they have been teaming together consistently for most of this year after Empress Nexus Venus broke up, causing Rian to become a free agent.
