Mark Davis has reportedly been sidelined.

On the March 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mark Davis took on Powerhouse Hobbs in a match that went much shorter than many expected. Although it was preceded by a brawl, the bout clocked in at around two and a half minutes, and now more has emerged regarding an injury which might have caused the clash to be cut short.

Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Mark Davis sustained an injury in his match with Powerhouse Hobbs last week.

The report goes on to say that it’s hoped Davis will only need to spend 4-8 weeks in recovery, though it’s certainly unfortunate timing as the Australian had only recently made his return from a major injury. Of course, we wish him the best with his recovery and look forward to seeing him back in the ring as soon as he’s medically able.

The news comes just a day after it emerged that both Jay White and Orange Cassidy are also battling injuries, with Davis now added to list of AEW wrestlers that are sidelined.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Mark Davis’ injury status as soon as we hear more.
