Marq Quen Reportedly Set Significant Time Sidelined From AEW

Marq Quen reportedly looks set to spend significant time away from the ring.
On the February 11 edition of Dynamite, Private Party made their first AEW appearance since losing the World Tag Team Championships to The Hurt Syndicate in January 2025. Since their surprise return, the duo picked up where they left off by regularly competing in both AEW and HOG. However, it now seems their momentum has already been brought to a halt.
While providing an update on two AEW stars’ injury status, Fightful Select noted Marq Quen was believed to be missing significant time with an injury.
“With Quen, it was implied that he sustained a tear of some sort by an AEW source, with another claiming that he was going to miss some significant time. This was just as Private Party returned from over a one year absence.”
As mentioned, injuries were what took Private Party off our screens for over a year last January. As of now, there’s been no word on exactly how long the 31-year-old will be out for or what the news means for his tag team partner Isiah Kassidy in the meantime. Of course, we wish him the best with regard to his recovery.
Speaking of recent injuries, Fightful Select also revealed that a current AEW champion also looks set to be sidelined for the foreseeable future. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Marq Quen’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
