We now know more about Wardlow’s absence from AEW TV.
Last wrestling on the March 13 edition of AEW Dynamite, it has now been over six months since Wardlow last competed in the ring. Speculation has circulated around the status of the former TNT Champion, particularly as the Undisputed Kingdom has continued to be represented by Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Roderick Strong with little updates to the status of their stablemate. Now, we know more about Wardlow’s condition.
On the Stick To Wrestling podcast, Matt Taven confirmed that Wardlow is currently out with a knee injury.
“I mean, Wardlow’s out with a knee injury and as a guy with plenty of knee injuries in the past, they can be tricky. You start to think they’re one thing and then you think they’re another and then you think, oh, I can get away with doing this or that and it seems to be more serious so, I think he’s just trying to figure out exactly what the best kind of treatment plan is to get him back on track with that knee.”

As of now, there’s no indication as to when Wardlow will make a return to AEW programming and reunite with the Undisputed Kingdom. We wish him the best and hope to see him back in the ring when he is medically cleared to come back to in-ring competition.
