Max Caster’s AEW Contract Reportedly Up In October

Max Caster’s AEW deal is believed to be up in a matter of months.

Having officially signed with All Elite Wrestling in October of 2020, Max Caster has seen many peaks and troughs during his time in Dynamite and Collision. Teaming with Anthony Bowens as part of The Acclaimed, he memorably captured the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Grand Slam 2022, however, as of late, the 37-year-old has been lost in the shuffle of the company’s roster, and now an update has emerged on his future.

According to Fightful Select, it’s believed Max Caster’s AEW contract is up around October.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Max Caster’s All Elite Wrestling contract is set to expire around October of this year.”

Last year, a brief singles run, he began teaming with Anthony Bowens for a second run. However, after their storyline struggled to pick up momentum, Caster disappeared from out screens, and he’s yet to wrestle for AEW in 2026 despite remaining active on the independent scene.

The report noted that it’s currently unclear whether Caster and AEW have been discussing an extension, with the situation certainly being one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
