The CEO is reportedly set to be in attendance for IMPACT’s Slammiversary PPv.

In May of last year, then-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi made headlines as the pair walked out of a Monday Night Raw taping, leading them to be stripped of their titles and indefinitely suspended. The pair have both since left the promotion, with Banks now going by Mercedes Moné for both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom, whilst the former Naomi now competes under her real name of Trinity for IMPACT Wrestling.

Ahead of tomorrow night’s Slammiversary show, PWInsider are reporting that Moné is expected to be in attendance, although its believed that this is simply to support her former tag partner, with Moné not expected to appear on camera.

“Mercedes Mone aka the former Sasha Banks is expected to be in attendance at tomorrow’s Slammiversary PPV in Windsor, Ontario, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that Mone is coming to the event in support of Trinity and would not likely be appearing on camera.”

This wouldn’t be the first time Moné has been in attendance for an IMPACT show in recent memory, as both her and WWE’s Tamina were present for Trinity’s debut earlier this year, whilst both Trinity and Bayley travelled to Tokyo in January to witness Mercedes’ New Japan debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Trinity is set to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship during the show, whilst Mercedes is currently nursing an ankle injury, although she’s expected to set her sights on Giulia’s NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship upon her return.
