A major UFC name has his eyes on making the move to WWE.

Earlier this year, UFC star Michael Chandler appeared in the crowd during the February 19 episode of Monday Night RAW. Chandler called out Conor McGregor on the microphone during the appearance, and whilst that fight has yet to materialise, the former three-time Bellator Lightweight Champion appears to have his sights set on the world of sports entertainment.

Appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Chandler revealed that he is open to competing in a WWE ring and believes the company is interested in him. He also suggested a potential showdown with Logan Paul, with SummerSlam mentioned as a possible venue.

“When’s Wrestlemania? [April] So we can’t do Wrestlemania. SummerSlam is in August? I knew there’s one in August. Minneapolis in August. Me versus Logan Paul. Could be awesome. We’ll see. We got a lot of talks to happen between now and then. Obviously, they know I’m interested. I believe they’re interested. So we’ll see where we’re at.”

Chandler has lost five of his last six UFC fights, with his most recent defeat coming against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 314 on April 12. He is scheduled to face Chad Mendes at Real American Freestyle 3 on November 29.

Despite ongoing rumours that Chandler may finally face his opposing coach from the 2023 season of The Ultimate Fighter, Conor McGregor, at the UFC White House event scheduled for June 2026, no official announcement has been made.

With both UFC and WWE now under the TKO umbrella, the door could be open for ‘Iron Mike’ to step into the squared circle in the near future.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the prospect of Michael Chandler competing in a WWE ring as soon as we hear more.
