There’s still fight left in the TNA Hall of Famer.

Mickie James is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in women’s wrestling during the 2000s, with memorable stints in WWE, TNA Wrestling, and the NWA.

Appearing on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, James was asked if she still had it in her to lace up the boots one more time. She gave a passionate yes but clarified that she is satisfied with what she has achieved in her career.

“Hell yeah! I could do 10 more. But it’s also with the career that I’ve been so blessed to have, and the moments that I’ve been able to have and the people that I’ve been able to work with, I could retire tomorrow and be a happy woman. I don’t have anything else, I think, to prove in the wrestling business, but I also love it, and there’s nothing like it.”

James was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame by Tara at Bound for Glory on October 12, cementing the five-time Knockouts World Champion as one of the promotion’s all-time greats.

Alongside her successes in TNA, James is a former five-time WWE Women’s Champion and one-time Divas Champion. She is currently signed to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she serves as the promotion’s Creative Director, Head of Female Talent, and Executive Producer.

Elsewhere during the interview, James claimed that her husband Nick Aldis’ in-ring career is far from over. You can read more about that here.

James also touched on the controversial ‘Piggy James’ storyline between herself and LayCool. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the prospect of Mickie James stepping back into the ring as soon as we hear more.
