Mike Bailey Names His Favourite Matches He’s Had In AEW So Far

‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey reflects on his time with AEW.
On March 12, 2025, Mike Bailey made his surprise AEW debut, facing The Beast Mortos in an International Championship eliminator qualifying match. The 35-year-old had been a standout talent for TNA and across the independent scene prior to becoming ‘All Elite’, and, with over a year under his belt as part of the AEW roster, the star has now picked out some of his personal favourite moments over the last 12 months or so.
Speaking on a YouTube vlog, Mike Bailey named JetSpeed’s first match as a team and the triple threat match for the International Championship at Dynasty 2025 as some of his favourites so far from his time with AEW.
“I have a lot of affection for the first JetSpeed match, the first official one. JetSpeed versus the Young Bucks because that really is the match that created JetSpeed and got us going as we are now. But I’ve had so many fun ones. I think that the Dynasty 3-Way really kicked off my AEW tenure with a bang. It was exactly what I needed and wanted at that point, so that one really stands out as special to me. But I really do think that the most important thing is that the best is yet to come, and I’m gonna be in AEW for a long time, and there are so many good matches that are gonna happen.”

In terms of gold, Bailey is yet to win a singles championship in All Elite Wrestling, although he’s got two reigns with the AEW World Trios Championships under his belt. Initially, he and Kevin Knight won the gold with Hangman Page, although, when JetSpeed reclaimed the titles the following month, it was Mistico who stood by their side.
Most recently in AEW, the star entered the Casino Gauntlet for the vacant TNT Championship at Dynasty 2026. However. despite entering the match relatively early, it was actually Bailey’s JetSpeed partner Kevin Knight who picked up the title.
