Mika Santana’s TNA deal is set to expire this summer.

Amid WWE’s partnership with TNA Wrestling, Mike Santana has made a handful of appearances on NXT over the past several months, and at one point reports indicated that he was expected to sign with WWE before he ultimately signed an extension.

It now appears as though rumours about his future are set to re-emerge, as according to PWInsider Elite, Mike Santana’s TNA Wrestling contract is set to expire this summer.

Mike Santana defeated Frankie Kazarian to capture the TNA World Championship for the second time during Thursday Night Impact!’s AMC debut on January 15.

Having recently appeared on the March 31 episode of NXT and given WWE’s previous interest, it will be interesting to see if the company makes a move to secure Mike Santana’s signature should he enter free agency.

Whilst Mike Santana’s future remains uncertain, one name who looks to have departed the promotion is Dani Luna, as TNA Wrestling have reportedly granted her release request. You can read more about that here.
