MJF On TNA Talent Being Pulled From Shows: What Carlos Silva Is Doing Is Disgusting

MJF has strong words for Carlos Silva after TNA Wrestling pulled their talent from a number of shows.
Reports emerged yesterday that TNA Wrestling had pulled Moose from an upcoming Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling event, raising fears that further talent could be withdrawn elsewhere. Those fears have now been realised, as major matchups across WrestleMania 42 weekend and beyond no longer appear to be moving ahead, with TNA Wrestling seemingly restricting their talent from appearing on shows involving wrestlers from All Elite Wrestling.
Appearing on Busted Open, MJF did not hold back when addressing the change in policy from TNA Wrestling, highlighting the hypocrisy of not paying their talent fairly while restricting them from taking outside bookings, with particular venom aimed at TNA President Carlos Silva.
“Let’s talk about TNA and the fact that they are pulling young talent off of shows when they’re barely paying them any money whatso-f*cking-ever and telling them, ‘Hey, you can’t wrestle because there is a guy from another promotion that’s wrestling on this show.’ Does that help young talent grow? Does that help young talent become better inside the squared circle? More over, does that help young talent put food on their plate and on their table so they can eat? What Carlos Silva is doing is disgusting and if anybody supports him or that company at this point, it is very hard for me to wrap my head around.”

MJF was originally set to face Nic Nemeth at Create A Pro Wrestling Monumental Moment on May 1; however, the match is no longer scheduled to take place. Fightful Select also revealed yesterday that MJF had at one point been planned to face Bear Bronson in GCW last month before TNA Wrestling blocked the match.
Another major match no longer set to take place would have seen former AEW National Champion Ricochet face TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater at the Mark Hitchcock Memorial Show during WrestleCon on April 16, with all parties having previously agreed for the match to go ahead before TNA Wrestling walked back on the initial agreement.

MJF recently addressed AEW not censoring ‘F*ck ICE’ chants and drew comparisons to WWE’s increasing ties to Donald Trump. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on TNA Wrestling’s new policy on talents being unable to work elsewhere as soon as we hear more.
