More AEW departures could be on the way.
In February, it was revealed that Malakai Black, Ricky Starks and Miro had all departed All Elite Wrestling after they each had had their respective frustrations with the company. Then, on Thursday, it was reported that Leyla Hirsch was set to become a free agent after her AEW contract was allowed to expire and now it seems like more roster members could be leaving AEW soon.
Per Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s believed that there may be more AEW departures this month, whether it be through the company releasing talent or a case of contracts expiring.
“I think that this will not be the last time you hear this story in the month of March. I have heard that there might be some departures coming up in March. Whether it’s people being released, people’s deals coming up and not being renewed. I think the fact of the matter is, they got way too many people under contract… I think I can comfortably say she [Leyla Hirsch] will not be the last in the next 30 days.”

As yet, there’s been no indication as to who may be likely to exit AEW should there be more departures but it may not be long before we see further names depart the company.
