Natalya has not yet committed her future to WWE.

Over the last couple of months, WWE have re-negotiated the contracts of many of their top stars, with Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins among those now expected to stay with the company long-term. However, a case that has perhaps flown under the radar is that of Natalya, whose current deal is set very close to its expiration date.

To provide an update on this, Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio has revealed that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion is still yet to agree on a new contract with WWE.

“Yeah, she hasn’t signed a new deal. But y’know, I don’t know that that’s anything to be alarmed over or anything like that, but that is the situation,”

-Dave Meltzer

Natalya first signed with the company in 2007, meaning that she has spent almost two decades under the WWE umbrella. For many, it would be hard to imagine the 42-year-old taking her craft elsewhere, but, as the old saying goes, never say never with her situation certainly one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Natalya’s WWE contract status as soon as we hear more.
