The Netflix Vice President Of Sports has reflected on their partnership with WWE thus far.

In January 2025, Monday Night RAW debuted on Netflix in an unprecedented move for sports entertainment. Outside of the United States, all Premium Live Events, SmackDown and NXT are also available on the streaming platform as WWE use the opportunity to continue growing their audience. Now, the Netflix Vice President Of Sports has discussed what the partnership has been like from their perspective.

Through a new article from Variety, Netflix Vice President Of Sports Gabe Spitzer has said that their partnership with WWE has been everything they could’ve hoped for.

“It’s everything we could have hoped for and more. We knew going in that we’re not going to change WWE. It was more, how can we add to it in small ways, and that’s what we’ve seen so far. [WWE’s] distribution has been pretty fragmented up to this point, and the hope was ‘Let’s combine the power of what you guys do with the power of what we do with our global distribution, and get our marketing teams together … and try to lift this.”

The red brand’s viewership is up significantly since moved to Netflix, and WWE began a 10-year deal worth over $5 billion with the streaming service earlier this year, so it’s safe to say that their partnership won’t be coming to an end any time soon.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WWE’s deal with Netflix as soon as we hear more.
