New Japan Pro Wrestling are believed to be interested in Baron Corbin.
On November 1, it was revealed that WWE had informed Baron Corbin of their intention not to renew his contract when it was next up for re-negotiation, freeing the former United States Champion to potentially show up elsewhere as soon as his deal had expired. A new update has now indicated that, when it comes to his next venture into the wrestling world, Corbin could see himself land in Japan.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that New Japan Pro Wrestling are interested in bringing Tom Pestock, the former Baron Corbin, to the company.

The report notes that, while the two sides have made contact, it’s currently unknown how advanced any talks are at this stage. Eyebrows are likely be raised at the interest shown in the 40-year-old, but whether New Japan are able to finalise Corbin’s signature remains to be seen for now.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on NJPW’s interest in Baron Corbin as soon as we hear more.
