The pair have been working the NXT Live circuit as of late.
On October 10, Omos came face to face with Oba Femi at an NXT Live Event in Detroit, Michigan. The former NXT Champion challenged the ‘Nigerian Giant’ to a singles match the following day in Cleveland, which ultimately led to a huge pull-apart brawl.
Speaking to TMZ Sports in a new interview, Omos recalled instantly feeling the chemistry between himself and Oba Femi the first time the pair shared a locker room.
“From the first locker room we had (together) I could tell the chemistry was there and we have something amazing. That’s the thing about being in this business is when you get with another individual you want to feel that chemistry that you guys can make magic, and I felt that in that moment. Like I said, again, man, I just had to show them, you know, who the big boss is and who the veteran is, you know, I’ve been in this game eight years, so it’s still a lot of work to do. He’s done a great job in NXT, he’s extremely charismatic. He’s great on the mic, great body of work, great physicality and guys like Oba are humbling to face. It gives me a lot of excitement when I meet guys who have such physical powers like he does.”

Earlier in the interview, Omos remarked that the pair’s recent encounters are merely a teaser of what’s to come, joking that Oba Femi should respect his elders.
