Orange Cassidy has been sidelined with injury.

Earlier today, it emerged that Jay White had suffered a legitimate injury which prompted AEW to pull him from this year’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Now, it seems as if we can add another name to the company’s list of injuries.

Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Orange Cassidy has been sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle.

Fightful Select learned this week that former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy has been sidelined with an injury. The early indication from those within the company were that Cassidy possibly tore his pectoral muscle.”

The last time viewers saw the former International Champion on Dynamite was in a four-way involving Ricochet, Mike Bailey and Mark Davis, although how Cassidy sustained the injury is currently unknown, so it’s unclear if the damage occurred during the match. It’s noted that there isn’t currently a known timetable with regard to his return.

Of course, we wish Orange Cassidy the best with his recovery and hope to see him back in the ring as soon as he’s medically able.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Orange Cassidy’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
