Orange Cassidy has some high praise for Jon Moxley.

‘Freshly Squeezed’ Orange Cassidy has had his fair share of wars over AEW’s International Championship, and his recent series with Jon Moxley certainly brought out the best in both men. As it stands, the pair are tied at one win apiece with Cassidy’s full gear title retention cancelling out Moxley’s gruesome victory to win the gold in the main event of All Out.

Now, Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Orange Cassidy has offered up high praise for the man who he spent the latter part of last year embroiled in a feud with, giving Jon Moxley credit for being a leader within AEW and leading by example.

“Jon Moxley is a leader for AEW and I think a lot of people look to Jon Moxley for leadership. I am too, like Jon Moxley, a person that leads by example and I saw the example that he was setting and I was like, ‘You know, I want to do that.’ I try. I try, but no one can be Jon Moxley because there is no (other) Jon Moxley. I am forever in his debt for him changing and bringing out this version of me that is clearly a better version because I still have [AEW International Title],”

-Orange Cassidy

As he mentions, Orange is the currently the reigning International Champion. Most recently, he successfully defended his gold against Dante Martin on Dynamite, but, although their paths are separate for now, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see Jon Moxley go after Cassidy yet again in what would be the third match in their rivalry.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley as we hear more.
