Randy Orton Reveals He Wants To Feud With Finn Bálor Before His WWE Career Is Over

Randy Orton wants to feud with Finn Bálor.
Starting his career in 2002, Randy Orton’s list of rivals features some of the biggest names in WWE history. From John Cena to Triple H to Cody Rhodes, there aren’t many top stars ‘The Apex Predator’ hasn’t shared the ring with. However, the 46-year-old has now named a former world champion he’d like to face before his career comes to an end.
In an interview with The Schmo, Orton discussed never having a singles match with Finn Bálor, saying he’d like to feud with the Irishman in future.
“Finn Balor to me, I’ve been in the ring with him, but I’ve never had a singles match, let alone a feud. I would love to be able to say that I did by the end of my career. I think Finn Balor is an amazing talent. There’s nobody smoother than him.”

While he didn’t emerge from WrestleMania Saturday with a win, his beatdown of Cody Rhodes following their match indicates Randy remains focused on becoming a 15-time world champion for the foreseeable future. On the other hand, Bálor brought back the demon as he defeated Dominik Mysterio on Sunday night, and he continued his pursuit of the Judgment Day on last night’s RAW.
Still, with four years left on his current deal, there’s still plenty of time for ‘The Viper’ to find himself face to face with Bálor before all is said and done.
Elsewhere in the interview, Orton openly discussed his plans after his current WWE contract expires. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Randy Orton as soon as we hear more.
